It's also the first to automatically send you a picture of an object it encounters so that you can tell it to stay clear of it in the future.
The Combo j7+ is also the most efficient mop robot we've ever tested, removing spills and dirt effortlessly while leaving no trace it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. You can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't clean in areas you don't wish to. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can turn it on and off by speaking to it.
Its design is an improvement over the rest, with a sleek top piece that looks more like a toy robotic than a loud, obnoxious one. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt removal System is also self-emptying which will reduce your cleaning time.
In our tests the j7+ performed quick to pick up and remove dust dirt, pet hair and other particles. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one place rather than sending it scattering around the floor. It even was able to catch small gravel and sand, which most other robots couldn't do. And it did all of this without getting caught in our pet's hair shed.
Although it's not as smart as the $1,217 Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum, and it's not able to clean stairs The j7+ is still an excellent option for those who need a vac and a mop in their home. It's not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it simple to use.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take a long time to download updates, and sometimes it's difficult to tell whether the update actually functioning until you've seen it in action.

Roborock has some of our favorite robot vacuums and the Q5+ isn't an exception. This is the cheapest model of their auto-empty line. While it may not have some of the more expensive features (like no-go zones or multi-story memories) but it's an excellent option when you're willing to make a few compromises to save a few dollars.
The Q5+ is extremely soft when it comes to obstacles like table legs and walls. This makes it an excellent choice for homes that have many furniture pieces. It's also very thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies, which is an area where many cheaper robot vacuums often fail. The technology for navigation in the Q5+ is fantastic as well, with only a few missing in corners and on walls.
The Q5+, just like other Roborock products can be controlled with only a few buttons on your device or through the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleanings and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones and alter your home map or change the labeling of rooms.
If you select the Q5+ it comes with a new auto-emptying dock, designed to make the robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver for install, but once in place, emptying the bin is relatively simple. It has a large LCD screen, which is useful in setting up schedules and adjusting settings. This feature isn't required for the majority of people, but it can help effectively keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart, well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of mopping and vacuuming. Its design and features are among the best on the market however, it's also expensive.
Its base station looks good and is hidden when it's not in use, and the dimensions are quite small. The station's most appealing feature is the way it automatizes numerous tasks and functions that other robots will leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which most other robovacs require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot charged and clean.
And its vacuuming is impressive as well. It's the few robot vacuums I've tested that does an excellent job of picking up debris on unfinished floors, and it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.

The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs, meaning it can get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of the house. If you're looking for a way to save money or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are plenty of other options available. Many eufy models cost considerably less. Eufy is an Anker company with an established track record of making robot vacuums that offer the perfect balance of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning of carpets and hard flooring, and mopping functions for a low cost. It's easy to set up, simply connect one of the side brush and then turn it on. Then connect the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock should be located close to an outlet that has plenty of room to move.
The G30 is a tiny device that measures 2.85 inches in height, meaning it can fit under most couches and pieces of low-clearance furniture. Its design is more subtle in comparison to other models. It is sleek with a black finish and three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs a spot in a spiral pattern over two minutes), Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do unscheduled cleaning.
The main aspect that distinguishes the G30 apart from its competitors is the way it cleans. It makes use of an integrated map to make a picture of the immovable items in its path. It can remember what it has already cleaned and what it is unable to access. It will return to the base to recharge, and then begins cleaning the area it left.
The elegant G30 has its flaws, though. The iRobot Roomba 675 is more built, incurs lower recurring costs, is charged faster and has a similar battery life, while providing better performance on bare floors and low-pile carpet. It has a bigger dust bin, which doesn't require more emptying. It also has boundaries that prevent it from certain areas. The G30, however is more affordable and much more manageable to maintain.
